Description
Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, desire, and beauty, was widely regarded as the most beautiful and attractive woman in existence. The Aphrodite Statue here depicts the concept that none of the gods were as lovely as Aphrodite. Aphrodite seems to be doing nothing more than standing and stretching in this statue. Her right arm is casually extended over her head, and her left hand sweeps through her hair while her head tilts slightly. A loose-fitting material is draped around her body to serve as a type of unrestrictive robe. The resin was cold cast. 13 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"
